Flight profiles range from sedate and majestic aerial tours, to thrilling flying with our Police and ex-Special forces pilots, chasing cars and flying helicopter tactical manoeuvres. Each flight recipient receives a commemorative certificate and will be transported into a totally unique dimension it’s an experience that will be remembered forever. £35.24 - £295 Bronze Flight (15mins for £99): The chance of a once in a lifetime experience - an exhilarating flight in one of our modern helicopters. Venues include pubs, restaurants or selected airfields where good food and drink are available so that everyone can come along and have an enjoyable day to remember! Silver Experience (2.5 hours for £149): More than just a helicopter flight, the Silver Experience is something completely different. Hosted by one of our highly experienced flying instructors, your two-and-a-half hour experience includes a superb flight and an interactive presentation that is both fun and informative. Your host will welcome you and then stay with you throughout the whole experience. He brings the personal touch to the pre-flight briefing; an amusing mix of helicopter history, flying anecdotes and the basic physics of flight. Then you will experience the breathtaking panoramic views only visible from helicopters (far better than peering through the small windows of an aeroplane), flying at about 1,000 ft above the ground and cruising at approximately 120 miles an hour. The flight itself lasts 15 minutes. Champagne and a commemorative certificate are presented at the end of the experience. Helicopter Gold Dream (4 hours for £295): You will be a Helicopter Pilot for the day, learning how the professionals tackle some of the most exciting and demanding operational flying tasks. This really is the opportunity of a lifetime, an experience to savour and remember forever. It's packed with a variety of presentations and flights, each designed to show you a different aspect of helicopter piloting. After a warm welcome and introduction, you will be given an informal and fascinating presentation into what makes a helicopter fly. Then, your first flight of the day is a 15-minute scenic tour where you are encouraged to take photographs and become familiar with your new surroundings; you'll be amazed by rotary flight at over 100 miles an hour at approximately 1,000 ft - the view is stunning! By now you have both seen and heard how it's done - the only thing left is to do it yourself. For 20 minutes in our professional Pilots' simulator, under the watchful eye of a skilled instructor, you will be taught how to fly a helicopter. Choose from an aircraft carrier landing to flying over Las Vegas at night, mastering the fundamentals of helicopter flight and enjoying an aerial tour of major cities. This really is your chance to experience professional helicopter piloting for yourself. After a break, it's back to business; FlyMagic have assembled a team of military and police helicopter Pilots who will put you in the Pilot's seat and open the door to the exciting world of helicopter flying at the sharp end. You will be given a behind-the-scenes briefing by our specialist team (some of whom have published books about their experiences) whose real life experiences range from inserting Special Forces behind enemy lines to flying the latest police helicopters in the ongoing battle against crime. After the words comes the action - hold onto your seats for a 20-minute flight like no other whilst the instructor puts the machine through its paces. Jet Flights Top gun for the day! This flight is not for the feint hearted. You will be flown in an ex-military jet that is capable of speeds in excess of 600 miles an hour forget your coffee and peanuts on this flight! It will take a good couple of hours to be briefed and kitted-out in all of the required safety equipment; and then to the flight itself by the time you have finished strapping-in you will have neat adrenaline coursing through your veins. We guarantee the flight will be everything that you imagined and more. The jet’s internal fuel tanks will be filled to full capacity and the flight duration will be determined by how quickly this fuel is used, but don’t worry, the pilot will leave sufficient fuel to return safely to base! Notes: Flight time approx 60mins Flights available all year round. Participants must be fit and healthy and will be required to sign a medical disclaimer. Minimum age is 16. You must be less than 6'2" tall and weigh less than 18 stone to take part. As this is a genuine ex-military jet, to comply with civil aviation authority regulations you are required to buy a temporary share in the aircraft. The total price includes your share in the aircraft and, as a shareholder for the day; this will entitle you to fly in the jet.
