Who are we? Big Boys Toys was setup in June 1999 initially with Scalextric cars and accessories and have been building our range since then. We sell mainly within the UK and try to be competitive in our pricing at all times. Our web site is designed and updated by us so is always up to date. We have also been increasing our range of products and are now able to offer Maisto diecast cars, Radio controlled cars; boats and planes, table football, and more to follow all the time. Ordering Problems? Thanks for your help. Terms and Conditions: Big Boys Toys are keen to maintain competitive prices at all times and therefore prices advertised on our web site will change from time to time. Prices may also changed due to supplier prices changes. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT. The range of products that we offer changes over time and therefore we can only supply items while stock lasts. If an item is out of stock then this will be indicated on the web site. If you order an out of stock item then it will be held on back order and will be supplied as soon as we can get the goods. Your Rights to Cancel: You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of your order, starting the day after you receive your order. Goods must not have been opened or used in any way. If you wish to cancel your order simply contact us for a returns numbers and return the goods to us (you will have to pay for the postage costs). Your refund will ocurr within 30 days of cancellation. Delivery Time: Our standard delivery time is 3 to 5 working days from the day we receive your order providing we have the items in stock. We deliver using Royal mail and 1st / 2nd class post for smaller items. Orders placed before 10am are usually shipped next day. Payments: We can accept payments by credit/debit cards and cheque (must be from a UK bank). Please allow extra time if you are paying by cheque. If you give us your e-mail address then we will send a confirmation of your order to you. Big Boys Toys use Secpay to process credit debit cards, we do not see or store any card information. SECPay use Thawte Certificates to ensure privacy during the transmission of credit card numbers. At no point during and after card processing are card details stored in clear format. Refunds: Any refunds will be applied in Sterling to the credit/debit card used to make the original purchase except where purchase was by cheque, when we will provide a cheque made out in Sterling. Your statutory rights are not affected. Returns Procedure: If you find any problem with goods delivered to you then please contact us. We will need you to post the goods back to us, and we will then refund you. If you would prefer a replacement rather than a refund then we will do this providing we have the item(s) available. We will not re-imburse postage costs of goods returned to us. We will not charge postage on goods that are later sent out to you in replacement. Complaints: Whilst we always endevour to provide the best service we can to our customers, occasionally things can go wrong. If you have any problems with the service you have received from Big Boys Toys please talk to us. We can be contacted on the mobile number up until 10pm every day, and will phone you back if your worried about call costs. Alternatively you may contact Chris at ccowper@bigboystoyz.co.uk. Please leave your daytime/evening telephone number if you contact us by e-mail and include information such as the sales order number if you have a complaint/query regarding an order. We will try our best to at least contact you within 3 working days of receiving your complaint. Security & Privacy Statement: We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. The type of information we will collect about you includes: Your Name, Invoice Address, Delivery Address (if different), Phone number, E-mail address, credit/debit card details Big Boys Toys do NOT store Credit/Debit card details When you enter your order you will first enter your name and address etc. When you come to enter your credit / debit card details the web site address will show 'https://....' to show that there is a secure encrypted connection. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. If you have any questions regarding privacy matters please e-mail Chris . Use of Cookies Cookies are small files stored by a web site on your computer. We DO NOT currently use Cookies to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. We do not send unsolicited commercial e-mail or engage in e-mail spamming etc. We will not give out your e-mail address to third party companies for marketing purposes.
